We provide personal care in our clients' homes, which can include: Assisting with personal care, which may include incontinence care, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating. Following a prescribed healthcare plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication. Ensuring the client’s home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place. You may also be expected to assist with some light housework. Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks. Providing mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair. Transporting or escorting the client to medical and other appointments. Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behavior, and needs. Required Qualifications Must be 18 years or older Must have valid driver’s license, insurance and vehicle Positive and patient demeanor Ability to build rapport with clients Ability to handle physical workload Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must be able to pass a Criminal History Check and a Drug Screen. 1-year Verifiable experience in an Assisted Living Facility, Residential Care Facility, or Adult Foster Home in home health/ in-home care, or other related fields. Private Caregiving is accepted as long as it's verifiable or for an In-Home Care agency.
