Forklift Operator

Forklift OperatorTitle: Forklift Operator Location: Webb City, MO, United States of America Primary Function: To ensure timely put away of inbound loads into the warehouse racking. To accurately and timely pull orders for shipment. Typical Physical Demands: Bending, stretching or lifting will be required. Requires the ability to work under high stress conditions for long periods of time. Ability to properly fill out paperwork. Requires computer R/F monitor work. Typical Working Conditions: Time will be spent seating on a forklift for up to 12hrs per shift. Food Defense Responsibilities: Inspect outbound trailers to ensure that they are empty and clean prior to loading. Inspect LTL loads for contents before loading any additional product on the shipping container. Inspect incoming shipments for any potential tampering. Inspect inbound and outbound loads to ensure that the inner-most-carton has not been compromised. Notify immediate supervisor anytime the inner-most-carton is compromised. Conduct inspection of trailers for inbound and outbound loads to make sure they meet shipping or receiving expectations. Duties and Responsibilities: Accurately scan proper locations and levels when putting up or moving pallets Verify that all pallets are free of damage before shipment Verify proper case count and product codes on all inbound and outbound loads Replace broken pallets before shipment Keep Warehouse and dock swept and clean as assigned by the Master Cleaning Schedule. Other duties as assigned Job Qualifications: Ability to handle multiple tasks at a time Computer proficiency with R/F technology Demonstrate ability to work well with other individuals and teams to achieve timely truck loading and unloading Be able to drive a forklift in drive-in racks.
