About the JobPosition: Paramedic.Location: Port Arthur, TX.Job Type: Travel Assignment.Overview:Join a private EMS company providing 911 emergency services and inter-facility transfers (IFTs) in Port Arthur, TX. This is a 16-week assignment designed for experienced paramedics looking for a structured, rotational schedule with competitive pay and provided lodging.Assignment Details:Duration: 16 weeks.Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off (Wednesday to Wednesday).Shift Length: 12-hour shifts.Compensation: $6,220 per 14-day work period.Travel Stipend: $400 included in pay.Pay Frequency: Biweekly.Call Volume: Average of 4 to 7 calls per 12-hour shift.Lodging: Provided during scheduled work weeks only.Responsibilities:Provide emergency medical services and patient transport.Respond to 911 calls and perform inter-facility transfers.Deliver high-quality patient care in both emergency and non-emergency settings.Requirements:Minimum of 2-3 years paramedic experience.Work Schedule May Include:Day and evening shifts.Night and overnight shifts.Weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.Certifications Required:BLS Certification (Required).PALS Certification (Required).ACLS Certification (Required).Texas EMS or EMS Compact State License (Required).
