Job Description Only qualified "Insurance Verification Coordinator" candidates located near the "Stuart, FL" area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence Education and experience required: • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) Requirements: • 1 plus years of experience in medical industry or call center environment • Strong experience with DME Durable Medical Equipment is required • Experience calling insurance providers and verifying coverage not just reviewing benefits • Ability to interpret medical and insurance documentation • Strong communication and data entry skills • Ability to meet productivity and accuracy metrics Responsibilities: • Verify and document new patient insurance coverage and coordinate costs for medical supplies • Re verify existing patient insurance coverage and communicate eligibility and costs • Contact insurance carriers to verify coverage and obtain prior authorizations • Enter verified insurance information accurately into internal systems • Communicate insurance eligibility and order details to patients and internal billing teams • Perform outbound calls in compliance with HIPAA and regulatory guidelines • Maintain knowledge of medical terminology billing and insurance processes • Track daily productivity and maintain quality standards Only those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.
