Warehouse Associate

Job purpose Monitoring the product leaving the Company warehouse. This includes creating shipping documents, boxing of goods, pulling inventory from the shelves, arranging shipment methods and tracking as required. Duties and responsibilities Maintain an accurate inventory count and assists in inventory cycle counts of finished goods Creates and verifies accuracy of packing slips for shipment of product Ensure all items are packaged to company/customer standards so to arrive safely Perform customer service duties as necessary, maintaining good relationships with shipping companies and clients Obtain and provide quotes of shipping costs from various carriers Select shipping carrier and schedule product pick-ups for domestic and international shipping Prepare regular shipping reports Daily shipment logs Maintain the warehouse area by cleaning, organizing and labeling items in storage on a regular basis Ensure enough storage space is available within warehouse area for product storage Move product manually or by forklift All other duties as requested or assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent Basic working knowledge of computers to include internet search capability Experience using a forklift and pallet jack is strongly preferred Ability to multitask maintaining attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work well with people at all levels of the organization Warehouse experience a plus, specifically packaging Must be physically able to lift 50lbs Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Schedule: 8 hour shift Experience: warehouse or inventory: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
