About The RoleVaimo is looking for a Program Manager to lead complex digital transformation programs for enterprise clients. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can manage multiple stakeholders and vendors, and knows how to bring structure, clarity, and delivery confidence to large-scale platform initiatives.The initial focus will be a high-profile digital transformation program involving a major website and platform re-architecture, with multiple workstreams, external partners, and senior executive visibility. Over time, the role may also support other strategic client programs across Vaimo’s portfolio.This is not a role for someone who only coordinates status updates. We are looking for someone who can actively drive delivery, manage dependencies, challenge unrealistic timelines, and create confidence across both client and internal teams.What You Will OwnProgram DeliveryOwn and maintain the master program plan across multiple workstreams, epics, milestones, and delivery gatesDrive delivery cadence across daily, weekly, and executive-level forumsCoordinate work across engineering, UX, content, data, QA, architecture, and external vendor teamsManage interdependencies across platform, integration, front-end, testing, and launch activitiesEnsure workstream leads are aligned to commitments, timelines, and decision pointsRisk and Issue ManagementMaintain an active, working risk and issue register that supports decision-making, not just reportingIdentify blockers early and escalate before they affect critical milestonesHighlight resource gaps, sequencing issues, ownership ambiguity, and delivery risksBring structure and urgency to problem-solving across multiple teams and partnersGovernance and ReportingRun governance rhythms including workstream forums, steering committees, and executive reportingPrepare clear, concise reporting packs that translate technical risks into business impactKeep roadmaps, decision logs, actions, and ownership records current and trustedEnsure governance frameworks such as RACI/RASCI, stage gates, and sign-offs remain live and actionableStakeholder and Vendor ManagementBuild trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, delivery leads, and Vaimo teamsAct as a central point of coordination across client teams, implementation partners, and specialist vendorsAlign technical and non-technical stakeholders around delivery priorities and decision-makingCommunicate clearly and directly, especially when timelines, scope, or dependencies are at riskFinancial and Resource OversightMonitor program budgets, commercial milestones, and scope changesFlag delivery or resourcing risks that could impact cost, timelines, or qualitySupport internal and client-side capacity planning across critical roles and phasesWhat We’re Looking ForEssential Experience8+ years of program management experience, including leadership of large digital transformation programsProven delivery of complex, multi-workstream initiatives involving several stakeholder groups and external vendorsStrong experience in digital platform transformation, such as website re-platforming, composable architecture, headless CMS, PIM, search/discovery, or systems integrationTrack record of managing high-visibility programs with fixed milestones and limited room for slippageExperience working with enterprise clients in fast-paced, high-accountability environmentsCore CapabilitiesExcellent dependency management and planning disciplineStrong risk management and escalation judgmentConfident facilitation of steering committees and executive forumsExperience with governance models such as RACI/RASCI, decision logs, and milestone-based deliveryComfortable working with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Craft.io, Smartsheet, or similarCommunication and LeadershipAble to translate technical complexity into clear business languageComfortable giving clear recommendations and escalating concerns earlyStrong relationship-builder with both technical teams and senior stakeholdersCalm, credible, and highly organised under pressurePreferredExperience in commerce, digital experience, or enterprise transformation environmentsFamiliarity with platforms such as Adobe Commerce, Magento, inRiver, Coveo, Contentful, Optimizely, or similar ecosystemsExperience managing global or multi-market rolloutsPMP, PRINCE2, SAFe, or equivalent certificationWhat Success Looks LikeIn this role, success means:Establishing a trusted program rhythm quicklyBringing visibility and control to complex dependenciesCreating confidence in delivery plans across internal and client teamsIdentifying risks early and driving resolution before they become delaysHelping Vaimo and its clients deliver strategically important transformation outcomes successfullyWhy Vaimo?
