We are currently seeking a Commercial HVAC Installer to join our team in Richmond, VA. If you have strong mechanical skills and take pride in quality workmanship, we encourage you to apply. What You'll Do In this role, you will install commercial HVAC systems and ductwork while maintaining high standards of safety and performance. Key responsibilities include Install HVAC systems and ductwork, including hydronic, steam, forced hot air, and heat pump systems Follow best practices for mechanical installation and jobsite safety Perform brazing and soldering as needed Install and support proper refrigerant piping systems Assist with basic controls and wiring Maintain a high level of workmanship and attention to detail Communicate professionally with team members and customers What We're Looking For At least 1 year of HVAC installation or service experience, or equivalent training Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn Ability to interpret basic system layouts and diagrams Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and documentation skills Dependable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug screen and background checks as required Why Join Southern Air?
