Job Title: Electrical Field Engineer Job Type: Full-time direct hire Job Location: Kingman, Arizona (Onsite) Salary: DoE Work Authorisation: US Citizen/GC Job Description We are seeking an Electrical Field Engineer for a major project in Kingman, Arizona. Responsibilities: Carry out innovative detailed designs as required for specific disciplines following good engineering practices. Ensure that the discipline designs are carried out in accordance with client standards and specifications, industry standards and the relevant legislation (quality of design) Provide design interface between disciplines. Ensure (certified) design information received from vendors, contractors and consultants is accurate and interfaces with other designs. Ensure assigned packages are installed / constructed in accordance with the project & vendor specifications. Manage, inspect, and release the relevant items of procurement, fabrication and construction within areas of discipline and responsibility. Ensure the effective (peer) review and approval of discipline design. Ensure continuous improvement, lessons learnt, value engineering, fit for purpose and latest technologies are implemented. Carry the responsibility for the engineering discipline sign off. Interface with internal and external design and drafting disciplines Provide discipline input for studies and proposals. Provide engineering support to the site team. Perform commissioning discipline activities. Manage the mark-up and back drafting of redline drawings. Mentoring of subordinators if applicable Takes ownership for personal development (within industry through registration and within company) Provide input into all SHE matters, actively participate, and promote a total safety culture. Manage the program (time), cost, quality, risk, and scope of assigned procurement packages. Participate in the Total Safety Culture and site safety requirements. Assist with the commissioning of the assigned packages in accordance with the project & vendor specifications. Ensure that reports are structured, accurate, complete, and well presented. Display proactive communication with project team with respect to discipline interface and problem solving. Requirements: 10+ years of experience in a similar role within a multi-disciplinary team in Industrial Mining & Minerals, Oil & Gas or equivalent EPCM environment Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering Registered as a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Arizona - desirable.
