With your molecular background, you will be able to utilize not only your existing skills, but will also learn many new techniques, creating attractive new growth opportunities. What You’ll Do Prepare amplified template libraries for high-throughput sequencing.Library quality and quantity check using various methods and equipment.Perform lab procedures in accordance with SOPs and CLIA/CAP regulations.Follow SOPs and guidance of team leads and managers for timely completion of tasks.Lab procedures can include but are not limited to those classified as Research Use Only (RUO), Regulated Environment (Reg-E) and CLIA-V.Able to adapt and use various automated liquid handling instruments such as:DragonflyFASTC. WashPerform routine maintenance of library preparation equipment for RUO use and Clinical use.Check inventory and replenish consumable.Communicate by phone and e-mail in a friendly and professional manner.What You Will BringBS in Biological Sciences or equivalent required.Some laboratory benchwork experience required.Understanding of Molecular Biology principles and technologies.Experience in a Next Generation Sequencing lab preferred.Experience in high throughput automation-based library preparation preferred.Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced customer-oriented environment.Highly motivated and well organized.Independent, detailed oriented, team player.Closely follow Standard Operating Protocols (SOPs).Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.Ability to react to situations with a sense of urgency.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Excellent documentation and record keeping skills.
