At CPDstudio, every project celebrates the perfect fusion of form and purpose.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Design Intern, located in Dana Point, CA. The Interior Design Intern will support various aspects of the design process, including space planning, sourcing materials and furnishings, assisting in the development of FF&E specifications, and creating visual presentations. Additional responsibilities may involve liaising with clients and vendors, maintaining an organized workspace, and assisting with project installations and timelines.QualificationsProficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design principlesKnowledge of Furniture selection and specifications, as well as understanding of FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) processesStrong Communication skills for effective collaboration with team members, clients, and vendorsDetail-oriented with an ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlinesFamiliarity with design software, especially Revit is preferredPursuing or recently completed a degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related fieldA passion for design and a creative mindset with the ability to think innovativelyInterest in the intersection of functionality and aesthetics in creating meaningful spaces
