Job Description - CNC Machinist – 1st & 2nd ShiftAble Tool / Planet Products Corporation is currently looking to hire skilled, experienced MACHINISTS for our Mazak, Haas & Fanuc CNC equipment in the Turning, VTL, horizontal & vertical milling and lathe departments. A qualified candidate will have at least 3 years of machinist experience and be able to work in a high mix, low volume job-shop environment. We offer competitive wages, 401(k), vacation, health, dental and vision, paid maternity/bonding leave, company outings, work/life balance, friendly work environment and other great benefits.1st & 2nd Shift Positions - 2 Locations, Lockland and Blue Ash (Both Plants are Climate Controlled) - $2,500 Sign-On Bonus!Required Skills:Produce precision machined parts by loading supplied programs, performing your own fixture, vise and tool set ups while operating a computer numerical control (CNC) machine. Plans machining by studying work orders, blueprints, engineering plans, materials, specifications, orthographic drawings, reference planes, locations of surfaces, and machining parameters; interpreting geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T). Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample workpieces; adhering to international standards. Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations. Maintains quality procedures. Keeps accurate records. Desired Skills:3 years of experience as a skilled machinist. Excellent verbal communication skillsIndependent and yet a Team playerCNC Machinist Job Duties:Program mills by uploading programs, zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs. Maintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications. Familiarity with MasterCAM or other CAM software a plus. Familiarity with one or more of the following Mazak, Doosan, HAAS and Fanuc CNC controls.
