Position Overview: Neon Marketplace is hiring Servers to work early May through late October for a seasonal opportunity. Servers guide our guests through our menu options while they enjoy the atmosphere of our dining locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality, food service, and customer service. JOB SUMMARY Responsibilities: Report to work at the scheduled time, neatly groomed and in a clean uniform. Prepare station for service prior to guest arrival, including the preparation/setting of silverware and table settings, and inspection of all tables for cleanliness, and correctness of settings. Serve food and beverage items according to prescribed procedures. Monitor diners' satisfaction frequently and anticipate needs without requiring direction. Reset tables as needed. Check identification of customers to verify legal drinking age Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately Properly obtain completed guest checks bearing all required information. Attend all scheduled employee meetings and brings suggestions for improvements. This job description is not inclusive of all activities that a server may be requested to perform. Other duties may be required as directed by your Manager. Must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule as business needs demand, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.
