DSP Engineer

This is an hybrid position in Tempe,AZ Alphacore is looking to hire a Senior DSP Consultant RESPONSIBILITIES: Advanced DSP Systems Engineers analyze, design, develop and test DSP algorithms that are implemented in hardware and software for Space-based systems QUALIFICATION: · Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (master’s degree is a plus) 4-7 years of experience in the development of wireless communication and RF systems and solutions Working knowledge of digital signal processing algorithms for radar and / or wireless communication systems. · Ability to define or select suitable architecture for RFIM implementations. · Identification of key logic parameters for block level functional testability and defining minimal logic for DFT. · Hands on experience of Digital filter design for different frequencies ranging from 0-10G. Hands-on experience with physical layer implementation, prototyping and testing, including RF signal propagation, modulation, equalization, and channel modeling. MIMO, SDR, and mmWave experience is a plus Demonstrated experience in developing software and/or hardware for communication systems. FPGA design experience is a plus Proficiency in MATLAB, verilog, systemVerilog, Python, and C/C+ Knowledge of MATLAB to Verilog HDL coder flow.
