completes change ordersPerforms specialized tasks such as preparing money orders, cashier's checks, and redeeming savings bondsAccepts and process credit card payments and withdrawals and credit card cash advances paymentsBalances currency, cash and checks in cash drawer at end of shiftAssists with the development of department procedures, policies, and processesDelivers exceptional customer services consistently to all business lines; maintain positive and productive working relationships with all internal and external customersAdheres to all policies, procedures, processes, bank's practices, guidelines, expectations, laws, and regulationsExceeds all established position sales and referral goals, objectives, and expectationsDemonstrates consistent professional appearance, image, ethics, integrity, demeanor, and represent the CTB brandLeads initiatives, add value, support the Bank's vision, core values, business principles, goals, and objectivesOTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Develop rapport with the client base, greet by/using name, have knowledge of account ownership, be responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and display a caring attitudeAdhere to Policies and Procedures Must adhere to all policies and procedures including customer confidentialityMultitask Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities at one timeJob Knowledge Must have good knowledge of all aspects of job; must have thorough knowledge of bank's products and servicesLosses Cash Items and Over & Shorts must be kept within guidelinesEffective Communications Must display good and effective communications verbally and in writingTeamwork and Cooperation Must be a team player with a cooperative attitudeMake Sound Decisions Must be able to make decisions within the realm of responsibility and refer matters outside realm of responsibilities to Client Service Supervisor or the Client Relationship Manager for decisionsComplete all reports and documentation to ensure quality of daily workAttend all staff meetings and bank sponsored events when required.Maintain customer confidentialityPerform all other duties that may be assigned by managementQUALIFICATIONS:One year of previous teller or cash handling experienceHigh School Diploma; or some college experience a plusExcellent quality customer service, sales, and telephone skills with a genuine interest in serving customers and the ability to collaborate and build good cross-functional business relationshipsStrong analytical, technical, problem resolution, sales and critical thinking, skillsTechnology-savvy and proficient in using advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) understanding of the FIS Horizon core Banking systemExpert level written and verbal communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, persuasively, informatively, tactfully and effectively work across all levels of the BankOutgoing and trustworthy with the ability to effectively handle and maintain confidential matters and informationDemonstrated ability to use accurate and great judgment, discretion, and reasoning, as well as, make sound business decisions, comprehend, and follows directions and instructionsAbility to work in a fast paced, high performance and changing environment, and must be able to adapt to changeMust be able to demonstrate and maintain a positive composure and consistently demonstrate professional appearance, demeanor, image, and consistently represent the CTB BrandMust be a self-starter who is self-motivated and directed with the ability to handle multiple tasks;
