Sales Analyst

With a culture of recognition and reputation for excellence, ELS is the ideal organization in which to develop a long and successful career!ELS is hiring for the position of Sales Data Analyst – Plano, TXWhat You'll DoThe Sales Data Analyst is responsible for accurately calculating, tracking, and reporting sales commissions, ensuring timely and correct payments to sales personnel. They also analyze commission data, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with various teams to resolve issues. Including developing reports, analyses and models impacting business decisions.Your Job Will IncludeAccurately calculate and process commission payments based on sales performance and commission plan provisions.Populate spreadsheets, perform calculations, obtain approvals, and prepare files for payment.Maintain accurate records of commissions and supporting data.Reconcile payments against targets, quota attainment, and performance metrics.Analyze sales data to assess the effectiveness of commission structures and identify areas for improvement.Prepare and distribute monthly, quarterly, and annual commission reports and dashboards.Identify and investigate discrepancies in commission calculations and resolve issues.Provide insights to leadership based on commission data analysis.Collaborate with sales, finance, and other teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in commission-related data. Act as a point of contact for commission-related inquiries from internal teams and potentially external clients. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to explain commission plans and processes.Maintain and update commission-related data in relevant systems (e.g., CRM, ERP). Participate in the testing and implementation of compensation tools or system enhancements.
