SMS Coatesville is seeking a highly skilled, results-driven and dependable Scale Operator Specialist. This role is responsible for accurately weighing inbound and outbound scrap loads, maintaining records, coordinating driver traffic, and ensuring smooth daily scale operations in a fast-paced industrial environment.In addition to scale duties, this position will serve as the administrative backup for purchase orders, supporting office operations when needed. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-minded, and comfortable working in both an office and industrial yard setting.SMS provides a comprehensive range of services for steel mill customers. We partner with our customers to design custom, cost-effective solutions, which focus on adding value and achieving goals for the operation and the environment.
