Python Developer with Hadoop Background:Locations-Chicago, IL, Denver, CO, Jacksonville, FL, Charlotte, NC (Onsite interview from these locations only)(5 Days Onsite)Python + Sql + Hive + Pyspark + Hadoop (Exposure) – rest all Development and coding experienceKey Skills & Technical Focus• Strong SQL skills are the top priority.o Focus is on advanced SQL and data analysis capabilities.o Onsite SQL rounds are challenging.o During phone screens, candidates are asked to walk through how they would solve problems.• Strong Python experience is also critical.o Python is used extensively across their frameworks.o Kafka is part of the environment/tooling.• Hadoop knowledge is important because their framework/environment is Hadoop-based.o Candidates with only SQL/Python experience but no Hadoop or big data exposure may struggle to adapt.o Candidates should understand how to work within and improve a Hadoop environment.• Hive and PySpark experience are must-haves.o Candidates should have hands-on experience in Hadoop ecosystem environments.o PySpark experience alone on AWS is usually not enough if the candidate lacks broader big data/Hadoop exposure.
