Litigation Associate

A nationally recognized labor and employment law firm is seeking a Mid-Senior Level Employment Litigation Associate to join its Irvine, CA office. This is an opportunity to work alongside experienced employment attorneys on complex workplace disputes while taking on meaningful responsibility and direct client interaction.Location: Irvine, CaliforniaResponsibilitiesRepresent employers in a wide range of employment litigation matters, including wage and hour disputes, discrimination claims, harassment claims, and related workplace issues.Manage cases through all phases of litigation, from initial pleadings through resolution.Draft and respond to pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.Conduct legal research and prepare persuasive written advocacy.Take and defend depositions and participate in hearings and court proceedings.Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop case strategy and mitigate risk.Handle multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining exceptional client service.QualificationsJ.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.4–7 years of employment litigation experience.Admission to the California Bar in good standing.Experience handling wage and hour matters, employment discrimination claims, and harassment litigation.Strong legal writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.Ability to manage cases independently while working collaboratively within a team environment.Excellent organizational and client relationship management skills.Preferred ExperienceExperience litigating class actions, collective actions, and representative employment claims.Background drafting and responding to discovery, preparing and arguing motions, and taking and defending depositions.Experience interacting directly with clients and managing litigation strategy.Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced legal environment while balancing competing priorities.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary range: $230,000 – $270,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.Comprehensive benefits package including:Medical, dental, and vision coverage401(k) and profit-sharing opportunitiesGenerous paid time offPaid parental leaveLife and disability insuranceEmployee assistance programAdditional voluntary benefits and wellness offeringsWhy Join?This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated employment litigation matters, gain significant client exposure, and build a long-term career with a highly regarded labor and employment practice known for its collaborative culture and commitment to professional development.Interested candidates are encouraged to apply with a resume and supporting application materials.
