This is a contract position with hourly rate with a hybrid presence required for 3 days a week in McLean, VA.Job DescriptionWe are looking for a seasoned Backend Engineer with deep expertise in Python (Django), Golang, and AWS. The ideal candidate will have experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems and APIs. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement backend services that power robust web and mobile applications.Required SkillsStrong hands-on experience in Python (Django) and Go (Golang)Proven ability to design and build scalable microservicesDeep understanding of AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.)Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, database modeling, and caching strategiesExperience with CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and cloud-native architecture
