Network Engineer

Education Qualification Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on server management. Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and related technologies. Solid understanding of networking protocols, services, and architectures (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPN, etc.). Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Windows security best practices. Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V and hybrid cloud infrastructure is preferred Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and provide technical support. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, or CCNP will be an advantage. Roles and Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain server infrastructure, including server installation, configuration, and ongoing administration. Monitor and analyze network performance, ensuring high availability and reliability for all servers. Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to servers, network connectivity, and security. Install, configure, and manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and other server roles and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network policies, procedures, and standards. Perform routine maintenance tasks, including patch management, backups, and disaster recovery planning for server systems. Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary measures to safeguard network infrastructure and data. Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of network upgrades and expansions, ensuring scalability and performance optimization. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT teams regarding server-related issues. Document network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference and knowledge sharing.
