General Laborer/Machine Operators

Job Description Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Finisher for commercial steel doors and frames. The Finisher is responsible for preparing, repairing, and smoothing steel doors and frames to meet quality and appearance standards prior to final painting or shipping. This position works in a manufacturing/production environment and requires the use of hand and power tools to remove defects, grind welds, and ensure a smooth, uniform finish.Essential Duties: • Prepare, repair, and finish commercial steel doors and frames to meet production and quality standards • Use grinders and other hand and power tools to smooth welds, remove burrs, and correct surface defects • Inspect finished products to ensure a clean, uniform surface prior to painting or shipping • Maintain a safe and organized work area in a manufacturing environment • Follow production schedules and supervisor instructions to meet daily output goals • Handle steel doors and frames carefully to avoid damage during the finishing processRequirements/Skills: • Previous experience in manufacturing, production, metal finishing, or a similar industrial environment preferred • Experience using grinders and other hand or power tools • Ability to identify surface imperfections and perform touch-up or repair work as needed • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Reliable attendance and willingness to work 10-hour shiftsAbililty to read a tape measure to the 16th of the inch is required for machine operator positions.Physical Requirements: • Ability to stand on your feet for up to 10 hours per shift • Ability to lift, carry, and move steel doors, frames, and related materials as needed • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift • Ability to safely use grinders and other tools in a production setting • Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment as required Equal Opportunity Statement:*Flexicrew Technical Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with FTS is governed on the basis of merit, competence, and qualifications.
