Contract Associate II, Analytical DevelopmentLocation: Houston, TX (Onsite)Associate II, Analytical Development - contractorResponsibilitiesPerform testing and data analysis on CAR-T, TIL, and other cell therapy products using techniques such as flow cytometry, ddPCR, ELISA, and functional co-culture assays, with minimal supervision.Support the design, optimization, and qualification of release and characterization assays to enable product development and technology transfer activities.Independently execute routine and non-routine laboratory operations, including equipment maintenance, reagent preparation, inventory management, and coordination of laboratory supplies.Accurately document laboratory activities, raw data, results, and analyses in accordance with established procedures and best practices.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Process Development, Quality Control, Materials Management, and Project or Alliance leadership to support program objectives.Perform additional tasks as needed Qualifications/SkillsBachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience, with 2+ years of relevant industry experience in cell and gene therapy, analytical development, or related fields.Hands-on experience with aseptic cell culture techniques (suspension and/or adherent cells; primary cells and/or cell lines).Experience with, or working knowledge of, analytical testing equipment such as flow cytometers, microscopes, plate readers, and PCR systems.Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to follow procedures and maintain accurate documentationAbility to quickly learn new techniques and work effectively in a team-based laboratory environment.Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and related software tools.Working Conditions, Equipment, Physical DemandsThis assignment is primarily based in a laboratory environment with some office-based work.Equipment UsedComputer, printer, telephoneStandard laboratory instrumentation and equipmentPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing and walking in laboratory settingsFrequent sitting, reaching, and computer/keyboard useOccasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of materials up to 20 lbsAbility to stand or sit for extended periodsAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
