Restaurants and Other Eating PlacesUsed Merchandise RetailersPromoters of Performing Arts, Sports, and Similar EventsBook Retailers and News DealersOther Miscellaneous RetailersSales ManagerSales Manager duties and responsibilities:Lead, develop, and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets.Identify and implement strategies to increase revenue and expand market share in the auto body parts aftermarket industry.Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers, including body shops, dealerships, fleet services, and wholesalers.Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing reports and insights to senior management.Develop and implement sales plans, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies to enhance business growth.Ensure a superior customer service experience through professional interactions and effective problem-solving.Collaborate with the purchasing and inventory teams to ensure optimal stock levels and product availability.Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences.Train and mentor sales associates, fostering a high-performance sales culture.Maintain thorough knowledge of auto body parts, pricing structures, and industry regulations.Address customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.Perform other related duties as assigned by management.Sales Manager qualifications:High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in the auto body parts aftermarket industry.Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to analyze sales data, forecast trends, and develop action plans accordingly.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and sales management software.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound business decisions.Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized.Ability to multitask and prioritize workload efficiently.Knowledge of auto body parts, aftermarket distribution, and the automotive industry is a plus.Sales Manager physical demands and work environment:Occasionally required to stand and walk.Continually required to sit.Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.Continually required to talk or hear.Continually utilize visual acuity to use a computer.Occasionally required to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.Sales Manager job type:Full-timeSales Manager schedule:Store Hours: Monday-Friday 8 AM-5:30 PM, Saturday 8 AM-4 PMRequires working some Saturdays.Sales Manager compensation:Base salary plus commissionSales Manager benefits:Dental, Health, & Vision insuranceShort & Long Term Disability InsuranceAccidental, Critical & Hospital Indemnity InsuranceTerm Life InsuranceEmployee discountAccident Emergency Treatment BenefitPaid Time Off401K
