Global Manager, Internal Audit

Allied Mineral Products is a leading manufacturer of monolithic refractories worldwide, headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. We are currently seeking a Global Manager, Internal Audit who is responsible for managing the Company’s global internal audit function. This position will manage a small group of internal auditors around the world ensuring a strong internal control framework is in place at Allied Mineral Products.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a comprehensive, risk-based internal audit strategy aligned with business objectives, evolving risks, and governance mandates.Serve as a trusted advisor to the C-suite on audit findings, risk posture, and control maturity.Oversee and evolve the global risk-based audit plan, ensuring coverage across financial, operational, compliance, and technology domains.Lead enterprise risk assessments and identify key areas of audit focus.Manage and execute audits across financial reporting, operational efficiency, IT systems, and regulatory compliance.Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with IIA standards and company policies.Present audit findings, risk assessments, and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board of DirectorsDrive improvements in internal controls, risk management, and governance processes. Leverage data analytics and technology to enhance audit effectiveness. Assist with internal financial fraud investigations.Expected travel (international and domestic) up to 35% annually.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related fieldsCIA, CICA or CISA certification required.
