Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Independent Employee Benefits Agent or Broker at MedMutual Protect in Dallas-Fort Worth TX. The Employee Benefits Agent or Broker will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, maintaining customer relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Consultation: Providing Cost Reduction Strategies in the Group Supplemental Benefits market that not only reduce costs to the employer but minimize financial exposure for the employees.
Sales Presentation: Deliver captivating sales presentations to individuals and groups, showcasing the benefits and features of our Group Supplemental Insurance products. Tailor presentations to address specific client concerns and preferences.
Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients, offering continuous support and service. Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and policy retention.
Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive products, and market conditions. Utilize this knowledge to position our Group Supplemental insurance products effectively and provide clients with pertinent information.
Compliance: Ensure all sales activities adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies, maintaining confidentiality of client information and upholding ethical standards
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sales, preferably within the Group Supplemental insurance or financial services industry as an Agent or Broker.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the ability to work independently.
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory and manage a flexible schedule.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is a plus.
Active Life and Health Insurance license or the ability to obtain one (we will assist you in acquiring your license if you are not currently licensed).
