The Business Development Associate (Entertainment) drives commercial revenue for the LA office by selling ZenaDrone and ZenaTech production services to studios, streamers, and commercial production companies. This person turns ZenaTech's drone and camera technology into booked work on real productions — aerial cinematography, autonomous tracking shots, swarm visuals, and behind-the-camera systems — and ensures Zena Studios' own projects showcase ZenaTech products on screen.Key ResponsibilitiesSell ZenaDrone aerial cinematography and production-technology services to studios, streamers, and commercial/advertising production companies.Build and maintain relationships with line producers, physical production VPs, and unit production managers across the major studios (Universal, Warner Bros., Paramount, and others nearby in LA).Develop and own the pipeline of production engagements; track opportunities from first contact through booked, on-set work.Negotiate service agreements, rate cards, and scopes of work in coordination with entertainment counsel.Partner with the Development Executive to embed ZenaTech product placement into Zena Studios' own slate.Coordinate with the Drone DP and Drone Production Coordinator to scope, quote, and resource each engagement accurately.Represent Zena Studios at industry events, markets, and studio physical-production showcases.Report pipeline, bookings, and revenue forecasts to the Development Executive and CEO.Required Qualifications5+ years in business development, sales, or physical production within film/TV or commercial production.Existing relationships with line producers and physical production VPs at major studios or streamers.Demonstrated ability to source, negotiate, and close production-services or vendor agreements.Strong understanding of how productions are budgeted, crewed, and scheduled.Confident representing a technology-driven service offering to traditional Hollywood buyers.Preferred / Nice to HaveFamiliarity with drone cinematography, aerial units, or production technology vendors.Experience with commercial/advertising production in addition to scripted film and TV.Background bridging technology companies and entertainment.
