With over 45 years in business, Metro Plastics has extensive plastic production capabilities, engineering expertise, and a dedicated on-site tool room and metrology lab supporting operations in a newly built state-of-the-art facility in Noblesville, IN.PURPOSE: Material, packaging, and completed items are received, stored, counted, and distributed throughout the warehouse. Supports shipping via numerous suppliers to guarantee products get at their destination on schedule.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesPrepares and processes receiving and shipping documentsLoads and unloads items to and from warehouse (receiving and shipping dock) and production floor using various moving equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacksAssembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets for shipment.Maintains fork truck log, according to state and federal regulations.Opens bales, crates, and other containers. Record amounts of materials or items received.Weighs or counts materials and marks with identifying information to ensure conformance to company standards.Uses WMS (warehouse management system) and RF scanners to view inventory and approved move transactions usAssists with placing delivered items and returned items from production into stock.Prepares parcels for mailing.Maintains accurate records.Ensures orderliness and cleanliness of warehouse and prevent aisles and emergency exits from being blocked.Participates in, and prepares for Physical inventories, conducts cycle counts and assists other areas as needed.Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS: H.S.
