Job Type: FTELevel: SeniorDepartment: AI EngineeringLocation: Remote (US or Canada)Rate: $165,000-$225,000 USD (rates vary in Canada)Position OverviewAs a Forward Deployment Engineer – AI, you will work directly with enterprise clients to design, build, deploy, secure, and operationalize AI-powered solutions in real-world environments. This is a high-impact engineering role for builders who thrive in ambiguity, move quickly, solve complex enterprise problems, and bridge executive conversations with hands-on implementation. The role focuses on helping customers move from AI pilots to secure, scalable production deployments using technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform, Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, AI agents, and custom AI applications.ResponsibilitiesDeploy AI and agentic solutions into enterprise production environmentsBuild enterprise-grade workflows, integrations, and custom AI applicationsOperationalize Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio use casesImplement secure AI data access patterns and support Retrieval-Augmented Generation architecturesWork directly with enterprise stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate workflows into AI-enabled solutionsLead rapid prototyping and proof-of-concept effortsTroubleshoot deployment and adoption issues in real timeConduct workshops, demonstrations, and architecture reviewsDevelop APIs, orchestration workflows, and integrations across platforms such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, SAP, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, Dataverse, and Graph APISupport AI governance and security initiatives by helping establish guardrails, runtime protections, observability, telemetry, and risk mitigation practicesContribute reusable deployment accelerators, solution kits, and feedback that help shape Cyclotron’s AI deployment methodologies and go-to-market offeringsQualifications5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, AI engineering, or enterprise solution deliveryHands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Generative AI technologiesStrong understanding of Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Graph API, REST APIs, identity and access management, and enterprise platform integrationsStrong scripting or development skills in Python, C#, JavaScript or TypeScript, and PowerShellExperience deploying AI or automation solutions in enterprise environmentsFamiliarity with RAG architectures, AI agents, prompt engineering, workflow orchestration, and vector databasesUnderstanding of AI governance, compliance, security concepts, and enterprise data protection practicesStrong executive communication skills and the ability to explain complex AI concepts to non-technical stakeholdersAbility to work directly with enterprise customers in fast-moving, ambiguous environments under tight timelinesAdditional Knowledge & SkillsPreferred experience with Microsoft Copilot deployments and Copilot extensibilityExperience with Power PlatformFamiliarity with Microsoft Security technologies such as Purview, Sentinel, Defender, and EntraExperience working with Fortune 500 clients or in professional services organizationsExperience with AI observability, telemetry, and agent governanceMicrosoft certifications in Azure, Security, or AI are valuableStrong problem-solving skills and a customer-focused mindsetAbility to switch between strategy and hands-on codingTakes ownership and understands both AI innovation and enterprise realitiesAbout the Company Cyclotron is a Microsoft Solutions Partner focused on the modern workplace, data, and AI.
