Part-Time Doula Facilitator (Certified or Trained) – Holistic Parenting Program

Overview We are looking for compassionate, certified or trained doulas to partner with us in delivering our Holistic Parenting Program. This role involves working with new and current parents, equipping them with tools to create positive family foundations and break generational cycles of neglect. Doulas in this position will have the flexibility to set their own schedules with clients, making it ideal for those seeking part-time opportunities with autonomy. Additionally, doulas in this role will play a vital part in community outreach, working to build relationships with parents and partner organizations. This may include recruiting individual parents to participate in the program or creating partnerships with agencies that serve expectant parents and families. Responsibilities: - Facilitate our Holistic Parenting Program to provide parents with essential skills, focusing on nurturing relationships, communication, emotional regulation, and positive discipline. - Engage in outreach efforts to recruit clients for the program and form partnerships with organizations that support expectant parents and families, expanding access to our services. - Customize program sessions based on the unique needs of each family, offering classes to both mothers and their spouses if desired. - Provide a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to explore and strengthen their parenting skills. - Collaborate with our organization’s team to ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery and gather client feedback to continuously improve program content. - Maintain open communication with clients and the program team to share progress updates and gain insights on strategies to support families effectively. Qualifications: - Certified or trained doula with experience supporting new parents or families. - Passionate about holistic, client-centered care with a commitment to supporting and empowering families. - Background in family services, counseling, education, or related fields is a plus.- Excellent communication, outreach, and interpersonal skills. - Comfortable with independent scheduling, client recruitment, and building community partnerships.
