Quality Assurance Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic software development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software products across various platforms, including mobile and web applications. This role involves designing and executing test plans, automating testing processes, and collaborating closely with development teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities Develop, review, and execute comprehensive test cases for functional, system, regression, performance, and user acceptance testing of mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web services. Perform manual testing on mobile applications and web interfaces to identify bugs and usability issues. Analyze test results to identify root causes of defects; collaborate with developers for troubleshooting and resolution. Participate in requirements gathering sessions to understand project scope and translate business needs into detailed test plans. Support release management by verifying fixes before deployment and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Document defects clearly in defect tracking tools like Jira. Conduct cross-platform testing on Android and iOS devices; ensure compatibility across different operating systems and browsers. Maintain knowledge of emerging QA methodologies, automation tools, and industry best practices to continuously enhance testing processes. Experience PROBLEM SOLVER and GO-GETTER. We can teach you the tools, what we can't teach is the DRIVE Proven experience as a QA/QC Engineer or Software Tester with a focus on automation testing for mobile applications (Android & iOS) and web platforms. Skills in analyzing business requirements and translating them into effective test cases; strong attention to detail is essential. Ability to perform root cause analysis and debugging for software issues across different platforms. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
