We are searching for a safety conscious individual to join our team of people who want to be the best at what they do, who think just “good” is never good enough, who take pride in their work and want to work with others who feel the same way.Visit us at https://www.camindustrialsolutions.com/.We are seeking a team player willing to work in a collaborative environment and enthusiastic about continuous improvement.Position SummaryPainted walls, equipment, buildings, bridges, and other structural surfaces, using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.Primary ResponsibilitiesCover surfaces with drop cloths or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during paintingSelect and mix coating additives to thin or promote drying and adhesionFill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster, or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knivesUses high air-pressure sandblasting equipment, chemical application, chipping hammer, power tools and other abrasives to remove rust, grease, dirt, concrete, and old paint prior to paint applicationApply primers or sealers to prepare surfaces, such as bare wood, metal, piping, fixtures, structures, and equipment for finish coatsApply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and other finishes to heavy equipment, buildings, and/or other structures using brushes, spray guns, sandblasting equipment, or rollersCalculate amounts of required materials and estimate costs, based on surface measurements and/or work ordersErect scaffolding and swing gates, or set up ladders, to work above ground levelMix and match colors of paint, stain, or varnish with oil and thinning and drying additives to obtain desired colors and consistencyQualificationsMinimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experienceNCCER Certified PerferredPhysical RequirementsSelected candidates must be able to complete the following physical functions including but not limited to climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and other repetitive motions with or without reasonable accommodation.Equal Employment OpportunityCAM Industrial Solutions is an equal opportunity employer, and we thrive on our differences for the benefit of our employees, our customers, and our community.
