Drama/Theatre Faculty, Adjunct

The candidate can expect to teach a broad range of drama and theatre courses determined by the evolving needs of the department. Experience teaching diverse students at various levels of college-preparedness and non-traditional students is highly desirable.MA or MFA in Drama, Theatre Art or related area, depending on the course being taught and the applicant's area of expertise.1-2 years of professional teaching experience at the college level and/or experience working in theatre production.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Commitment to teaching a student body diverse in ability, age, ethnicity, race, and sexual orientation.Must successfully pass a criminal background check.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:Three to four years teaching drama and theater courses at a community college.Experience with academic outcomes assessment, date collection, and analysis.Experience with our (LMS) learning management system (D2L) desire to learn.STATUS/SALARY:This is a part-time adjunct position with salary to be determined by placement on the faculty salary schedule commensurate with education and experience.
