AWS Platform EngineerKey activities include:Develop and release hardened pattern capabilities into AWS Accounts using hardened services that enable BlueCard Modernization (BCM) product application team to self-service on product solutionDevelop reference implementationDocument runbook guide for reference implementation and hardened servicesCreate and maintain CI/CD pipeline for platform service releaseDevelop reference implementationSupport BCM on reference implementation adoptionSupport BCM on hardened service usagesDevelop platform risk mitigation controlsBlueCard Modernization experience is not required or given preference. Blues Plan or Health Plan experience is not required. We are looking for AWS platform engineers with a software engineering background (8+ years experience), preferably in DevOps environment, with at least least 3 -5 years experience developing IaC for Cloud Platforms, preferably AWS. The engineer will be hands-on developing the cloud foundation, which may include CI/CD automation, infrastructure automation, ops and security logging, config management, network monitoring and segmentation, storage and backup, serverless, using Terraform, CFTs, AWS Code Deploy, AWS Control Tower, Splunk, etc. The engineer is not expected to strategically lead projects, rather design and code secure reusable services according to AWS best practices, and security and architecture standards.80% hands-on development and 20% strategic high level planning.
