Customer Quality Engineer - Shrink BagsValgroup is hiring an experienced Customer Quality Engineer for our Shrink Bag division! This position is hands-on technical customer support for Shrink Bags / PVDC, working cross-functionally with Quality, Production, and Sales to meet customer needs. Experience with shrink bag films and equipment in the protein segment is required. What you will do:Provide on-site technical support at customer facilitiesTroubleshoot equipment and product issuesManage product inventory levels at customer locationsInspect products in response to customer complaintsPerform root cause analysis and implement corrective actionsConduct customer training sessions and technical demonstrationsIdentify and recommend product and process improvementsSupport new product launches and customer development initiativesSchedule and coordinate customer visits and service activitiesThis position can be REMOTE with 25-50% TRAVEL Skills needed for success:Strong technical and mechanical background to support shrink bags in protein marketKnowledge of processes, including product insertion, vacuum, sealing, and shrinkHands-on experience with equipment such as vacuum packagers, clipping machines, and shrink tunnelsKnowledge of temperature, time, vacuum level, and handling impact product performanceWillingness and ability to travelStrong communication and customer service skillsAbility to work independently in a field-based environmentBachelor's degree in EngineeringAt least 2 years experience, 3 years or more preferred Why you should work with us!Generous paid time offGroup medical, dental, and vision coverage401K retirement with 100% matchFREE Telehealth, life, disability insuranceTraining and advancement opportunitiesGreat company values A resume is required for consideration.
