Traveling Ultrasound Tech / Sonographer

Join the team as an Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) in Fort Dodge, IA. Use specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images that assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This travel position supports a home health setting and requires clinicians who can integrate with interdisciplinary teams and follow facility protocols. Minimum Requirements: Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - required. At least 5 years of previous sonographer experience - required. Minimum of 1 completed travel contract - required. Work history/resume must document 24 months of current General Sonographer / General Ultrasound Tech experience - required. Experience with Philips Epiq7 ultrasound machines - required. Experience with Change Healthcare PACS - required. Experience with Trophon - required. Skills checklist specific to General Sonographer / General Ultrasound Tech - required. Professional reference or performance evaluation from within 24 months - preferred. Driver's license (document) - required. BLS certification from AHA or ARC/Red Cross - required. Preferred Qualifications Professional reference from a charge, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within 24 months - preferred. Assignment Details M-F 5x8 schedule, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Orientation schedule: weekly, every Monday. Candidate may be required to float within the same discipline across local campuses. EMR: Epic.
