THE ROLEAs a MuseBody instructor you share our values and passion for unrivaled and memorable client experiences.You will be a brand ambassador for MuseBody Collective and will contribute to the continued growth of our community whilst ensuring the highest possible standards of client care and class delivery.Responsible for creating and delivering exceptional workouts within the MuseBody framework — bringing the signature energy, intention, and atmosphere that defines every session. The ideal instructor is certified and knowledgeable in anatomy, able to move through the full workout alongside clients, and carries a presence that is equal parts engaging, confident, and grounding.You don't just lead a class — you curate an experience. From the music to the movement to the way clients feel walking out the door, you are the living expression of what MuseBody stands for.RESPONSIBILITIESAt the Studio — Before ClassArrive 15 minutes before class. Be familiar with MuseBody's general offerings, but always direct clients to the website, app, or Instagram for current pricing, packages, and promotional offers.Set up mats and equipment in the room and write required equipment on the board before class begins.Control all in-room lighting — red/NIR panels and track lighting — to ensure the environment is calibrated for the session.Check in clients upon arrival and complete a roll call if the body count does not align with the signup count.Build genuine rapport with clients — know their individual goals, greet them by name, and make every person feel seen from the moment they walk in.At the Studio — During ClassResponsible for the exceptional delivery of MuseBody's movement and light therapy programming across all class formats — Strength, Sculpt, and Low Intensity.Deliver pre-created programming provided by MuseBody Collective, or create workouts within the MuseBody framework, with equal energy and precision.Adhere to the start and end times, intensity, and description of each class based on the schedule, adapting to the varying levels of participants in the room.Lead the workout alongside clients for the full duration of class. (Not mandatory when doubling.)At the Studio — After ClassDuring the cool down, inform clients of upcoming studio events and distribute wipes.Conduct checkout for any retail or package purchases.Remain 15 minutes after class ends to engage clients, answer questions, and assist with any booking needs.Turn over the room efficiently for the next class — ensure the studio and all equipment is left clean, organized, and ready.Communicate directly with Management regarding feedback, maintenance issues, substitution changes, and scheduling needs.Additional CommitmentsAttend all mandatory team meetings with Management.The following are not required as the framework is provided by the studio from playlist to class formatting/sequencing. It is optional for each teacher to create their personal touch on class within the framework of MuseBody Sequencing and Brand Experience if they prefer. Create a playlist for each class that aligns with the format's pace and energy — music is part of the MuseBody experience and should be treated as such. Studio Playlists are always available for teaching staff if staff prefer to use standardized playlists. Sequence workouts according to MuseBody's format structure and prepare equipment needs in advance. Sequences are always available for teaching staff if staff prefer to use standardized sequences.Support the MuseBody community through direct client interaction and genuine enthusiasm for what we're building. Social media engagement is encouraged not mandatory in the form of reposting tagged studio content, schedules, and events — personal posting about the studio is at your discretion and should always reflect the brand with care and professionalism.PRE-REQUISITES & ATTRIBUTESHold a current certification in one or more of the following disciplines or their equivalents: NASM Personal Training, Mat Pilates, Classical Mat Pilates, or Yoga. Certification must include a substantive anatomy and kinesiology component — this is non-negotiable regardless of credential type.20+ hours of teaching experience preferred. What matters most is that you've spent real time in front of real people.Hold and maintain current CPR/AED certification. IF you do not have this, it is inexpensive to obtain online!Demonstrate competency in modifications and contraindications across common injuries and conditions.Beyond credentials, MuseBody instructors bring something that can't be certified — charisma, presence, rhythm, and an innate ability to pace a room.
