Role: Developer - C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET Duration: 7 months Remote WorkFacets platform experience is a must.Job DescriptionThe Developer (Contractor) is responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting healthcare systems built on the Cognizant Facets platform.This is a full-time contract position working closely with Technical Analysts, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams to deliver integrations, extensions, and cloud-based solutions in support of core healthcare operations.The role focuses on hands-on development of Facets extensions, integrations, and related components, while supporting deployments and operations within AWS environments.The developer will leverage strong SQL skills and system knowledge to build reliable, scalable, and maintainable solutions, participate in the full software development lifecycle, and assist with production support and issue resolution.Required Skills3 years of residential requirements in the USStrong hands-on experience with Cognizant / TriZetto Facets, including extensions, batch processes, and integrationsStrong SQL development experience, including complex queries, stored procedures, and performance troubleshootingExperience developing or supporting healthcare payer applicationsExperience deploying, developing, or supporting applications in AWS environmentsSolid understanding of system integrations, including APIs, file-based interfaces, and batch jobsExperience across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Familiarity with DevOps practices and building CI/CD pipelinesStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills for production issuesKnowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall development methodologiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently in a fast-paced, multi-project environmentDesired SkillsExperience with healthcare payer operations including claims, enrollment, benefits, or provider dataFamiliarity with Facets data models and database structuresExperience with .NET-based development (C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET)Exposure to ETL processes, batch scheduling, or job automation toolsExperience supporting cloud modernization or migration initiativesExperience working with offshore or geographically distributed teamsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experienceThis is a remote position.J-18808-Ljbffr
