The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide care for patients in the progressive care unit and stepdown settings, ensuring adherence to all safety and quality standards. Monitor patient telemetry and perform necessary assessments in coordination with monitor techs. Administer and titrate medications as needed, including drips in the stepdown unit. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including charge nurses and house supervisors. Ensure effective communication of treatment plans and patient progress to necessary stakeholders. Adapt to floating assignments to various floors or stepdown units as needed.QualificationsActive Registered Nurse (RN) license with ability to submit to boards and meet state regulations. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; must remain current during assignment. Minimum of 1 year experience in MedSurg or similar healthcare setting. Ability to interpret EKG strips and manage telemetry monitoring effectively. Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt to fast-paced environments.
