As one of the largest independently owned engineering firms in the U.S., our team of 500+ professionals operates from nine offices nationwide, bringing deep expertise and a commitment to excellence to every project.Some of your responsibilities include:Mechanical engineering students will be assisting with design and layout of ductwork and related mechanical equipment such as motors, fans and pumps for new and existing buildings (mechanical)Electrical engineering students will execute electrical designs in accordance with the Electrical Department's Procedures and Standards and specific client standards where applicable. (electrical)Fire Protection students will assist with layout and design of Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems utilizing AutoCAD and REVIT. (fire protection)Working with Engineers on commercial, government, healthcare, and scientific buildingsWill utilize Revit for 3D designs and Navisworks to check interferencesMay perform mathematical calculations and assist with equipment research and specificationsMay visit client sites and attend walk-throughs, punch lists or meeting with architects, owners, and subcontractorsOther duties as assignedEssential Skill requirements:Strong analytical abilityStrong verbal and written communication skillsKnowledge of LEED and sustainable practices helpfulAdvanced knowledge of Revit given priorityShould be going into Junior or Senior year of University/College
