Job DescriptionPosition Title: Industrial Painter – Manufacturing HelperDepartment: ManufacturingLocation: On-site | Panama City Beach, FLOverviewAdvanced Sign Solutions is seeking a motivated Industrial Painter – Manufacturing Helper to join our Manufacturing Department. This position plays a key role in painting, finishing, and assisting with the fabrication of custom signage. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with painting, finishing techniques, and power/hand tools, and thrives in a fast-paced production environment.ResponsibilitiesApply paint, primers, and finishes to a variety of signage products, ensuring quality and consistency. Prepare surfaces for painting (sanding, cleaning, masking, priming). Safely operate paint sprayers, brushes, and other finishing equipment. Assist in the fabrication of signage components, including cutting, assembly, and preparation. Support manufacturing team with shop duties such as material handling, measuring, and layout. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards. Follow production schedules and complete tasks on time to meet customer deadlines. QualificationsPrior experience with industrial painting or finishing required. Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in fabrication. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn additional fabrication skills. Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 pounds. Comfortable standing for extended periods and working in a shop environment. Capable of working around paint fumes, dust, and noise (proper PPE provided). Ability to work in varied conditions (indoor/outdoor when assisting fabrication/installation).
