Quality Inspector

Responsibilities
Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems.
Utilize advanced measurement tools including coordinate measuring machines (CMM) to verify dimensional accuracy against engineering drawings and specifications.
Perform visual inspections to identify surface defects, inconsistencies, or non-conformities that could impact product quality.
Maintain detailed records of inspection results, data collection logs, and non-conformance reports in compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and other relevant quality standards.
Support quality audits and participate in root cause analysis to address recurring issues or deviations from quality management systems (QMS).
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to implement corrective actions and improve overall quality assurance processes.
Ensure all inspection activities adhere to industry standards such as HACCP, CGMP, and regulatory requirements specific to medical devices or manufacturing sectors.
Requirements
Proven experience in quality control or quality inspection within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
Familiarity with data collection methods and analysis skills to interpret measurement results accurately.
Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions based on audit findings.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications thoroughly.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills to identify deviations from quality standards.

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
