They're a specialized materials-processing firm focused on improving the durability and performance of metal components through advanced metallurgical treatments.Job DescriptionThe Metallurgical Engineer will:Conduct research and troubleshooting to support and improve the company's proprietary processes.Collaborate directly with customers to identify, diagnose, and resolve metallurgical and technical issues.Partner with the Quality Manager to provide technical expertise for manufacturing and quality-related challenges.Investigate and resolve internal technical problems affecting production processes.Assist with metallography and microscopy activities, serving as backup support for internal lab operations.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. MPI encourages applications from minorities, women, the disabled, protected veterans and all other qualified applicants.The Successful ApplicantA successful Metallurgical Engineer should have the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or equivalent industry experience.Minimum of 2 years of experience, outside of schooling, in a related field such as heat treating, coatings, or metal processing.Strong understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous materials, with an emphasis on nickel-based alloys.Hands-on experience with microscopy and metallography techniques.Familiarity with wear, erosion, and associated failure mechanisms.Working knowledge of ISO 9000, AS9100, or comparable quality management standards.Experience in Aerospace or Oil & Gas industries is preferred.What's on OfferComprehensive benefits packageAnnual bonus structure401k with company matchExcellent leadership offering training and career growthIf you are interested in learning more, apply today for immediate consideration!ContactBrittany SchumannQuote job ref
