Ambassador

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Ambassador to serve as a vital representative of our faith-based community organization. In this role, you will foster meaningful engagement within the community, promote our mission and values, and support various outreach and youth programs. As an Ambassador, you will act as a bridge between the organization and the wider community, inspiring participation, nurturing relationships, and strengthening our shared faith journey. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to lead with compassion, demonstrate leadership skills, and make a lasting impact on individuals of all ages. Responsibilities Actively promote the organization’s mission through community outreach, events, and personal engagement. Lead and support youth programs, religious education classes, and faith-based activities to foster spiritual growth. Coordinate volunteer efforts, including recruitment, training, and management of community volunteers. Organize and facilitate community events that encourage participation and strengthen bonds within the congregation and local neighborhood. Provide mentorship and spiritual guidance to individuals seeking support or direction in their faith journey. Collaborate with clergy members and religious leaders to develop educational content for religious studies or youth ministry initiatives. Assist in fundraising efforts by engaging with donors, organizing campaigns, and promoting the organization’s charitable initiatives. Skills Extensive experience in religious teaching, youth engagement in pastoral work, or related ministry roles. Strong background in hospice care, bereavement support, or social work within faith-based settings. Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor others and manage volunteer teams effectively. Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse audiences across age groups and backgrounds. Knowledge of pastoral theology, religious organization community engagement strategies, and event planning. Experience working with children or in childcare within a religious or nonprofit environment. Ability to organize fundraising activities while demonstrating compassion through Christian counseling or mentoring roles.
