Registered Nurse - Float Pool ICU

ICU Registered NurseRegions Hospital is looking to hire an exceptional, patient focused ICU Registered Nurse to join our Float Pool and make a difference for our patients and our community. ICU RN's will care for patients in our med/surg/progressive care inpatient units as well as patients needing critical care in one of our four ICU units: SICU, MICU, CCU and Burn ICU. We are known for saving lives in our Level I Trauma Center, and our nursing staff are key to the exceptional care we provide each patient. As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool serving ICU patients, you will be responsible for performing patient centered, safe, effective, equitable, timely and efficient patient care based on the specific needs of the patient populations served, communicating effectively with patients, families, and the Care Team, participating as an effective unit and nursing department member and establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other health care team members across the organization. Work Schedule: 0.70 Evenings. All 8 hour shifts; every other weekend rotation. Required Qualifications: Degree in Nursing Licensed as a registered nurse by the State of Minnesota CPR for the professional rescuer or BLS for healthcare providers Preferred Qualifications: BSN/MSN strongly preferred and generally expected that BSN/MSN is obtained within 5 years of hire One year of acute care RN experience is strongly preferred ICU RN experience is strongly preferred Benefits: Regions Hospital offers a competitive benefits package (.5 FTE or greater) that includes medical insurance, dental insurance, 401K with match, fertility coverage, disability insurance, and tuition reimbursement.
