Required Qualifications5+ years of experience in VDC/BIM modelingSpecific experience modeling mechanical systems such as ductwork, piping, and plumbingProficiency with Revit and NavisworksExperience with AutoCAD and/or BluebeamAutodesk certifications (Revit, Navisworks, etc.)Sisque experience is a plusAbout the RoleInsight Global is hiring a remote BIM/VDC Coordinator/Modeler to help bring construction designs to life through accurate, buildable 3D models. This person will play a key role in coordination efforts across trades, helping identify and resolve issues before they impact the field. You’ll be working closely with engineers, project teams, and subcontractors to ensure projects run smoothly from design through construction. This position is fully remote, but candidates must be able to work during standard working hours on Central Time Zone.Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models based on construction documents- Model mechanical systems including HVAC/ductwork, piping, and plumbing (electrical exposure is a plus)- Coordinate with other trades to identify and resolve clashes early in the design process- Review and QA/QC models from internal teams, consultants, and subcontractors using Revit and Navisworks- Extract quantities and support project teams with accurate model-based data- Maintain BIM standards and documentation throughout the project lifecycle- Support engineers and project leaders with design updates, drawing revisions, and model improvementsProjects You’ll SupportYou’ll work on a variety of commercial and institutional projects, including:- Schools and educational facilities- Healthcare buildings- Convention centers- Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) support for smaller mechanical contractorsSalary Range: 75,000-100,000. Pay determination is based on candidate qualifications, years of applicable experience, certifications, education, and/or other determining factors.
