Stormwater Engineer / SWPPP Specialist

We are seeking a Stormwater Engineer / SWPPP Specialist to join the Irvine office. The ideal candidate is a Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering graduate with at least 2 years of experience preparing SWPPPs and WQMPs or LID Plans. In this role, you will: Possess a QSP or QSD certification, have at least 2-3 years of report writing experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent Have a key and primary focus on writing and preparing Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs) in addition to Low Impact Development (LID) Plans for submittal. Schedule and perform construction field inspections and QSP/QSD services and coordinate field recommendations with Contractor and/or Superintendent. Utilize CAD to prepare plans and exhibits and maintain knowledge of general design standards and agency requirements for report preparation. Design layout of storm drain and LID BMPs in compliance with agency standards. Coordinate with architect/agency/client for production of design. Lead training of internal staff and external clients on SWPPP updates, QSP updates and general trends in successful SWPPP implementation.
