Turret Set Up OperatorLocation: Cicero, IL 60804Pay Rate: $20.00/hrShift: 2nd ShiftJob Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC Amada Turret machinesPerform full machine setups, including tool changes, programming, maintenance, and light troubleshootingLoad and unload sheet steel efficiently to meet production demandsSharpen punches as required to maintain production qualityVerify that tooling and materials match job routers, drawings, and written specificationsMonitor production to ensure parts meet quality and tolerance requirementsMaintain accurate production documentation, including: first-piece inspections, quantity of parts produced, defective units per jobCommunication of non-conforming items or shortages to QC Inspector or SupervisorFollow all safety, quality, and company proceduresQualifications & Skills:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide small, medium, and large numbersProficient with tape measures, calipers, and other measuring devicesAbility to read decimal charts and simple to complex drawingsExperience working within specified tolerancesStrong attention to detail and documentation skillsPrior Amada Turret experience preferred
