Program Analyst (Data Analyst)
About the Job:
The Department of State Headquarters is seeking an experienced Program Analyst (Data Analyst) to support the Bureau of Consular Affairs (CA), Passport Services (PPT), Management Analysis and Coordination (MAC), and Management and Process Analysis Division (MP).In this senior-level role, you will serve as a subject matter expert in data analytics, developing and recommending data-driven solutions to address program challenges and business needs. You will conduct complex data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness, support policy decisions, and assess the impact of legislation and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct complex data analysis to evaluate program effectiveness and organizational performance.
Recommend and develop data-driven solutions to address bureau-level program and business challenges.
Analyze data to support informed policy decisions and strategic planning.
Assess the impact of legislation and regulations on programs, operations, and business processes.
Serve as a subject matter expert in data analytics, providing analytical insights and recommendations to support management decisions.
Support management and process analysis initiatives within Passport Services.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in program analysis, data analytics, or a related field appropriate to senior-level responsibilities.
Ability to conduct complex data analysis and interpret findings to support program evaluation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to develop data-driven recommendations for business and program challenges.
Understanding of how legislation and regulations may affect program operations and policy decisions.
Ability to communicate analytical findings and recommendations effectively.

Salary Range: $125,776–$197,200 per year
