Job DescriptionLocation: Marble Falls, TXPosition Type: Part-TimeSchedule: Flexible | Minimum 4 shifts per monthClinic Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM, seven days a weekCompensation: $120–$140/hour (based on experience) + bonusBenefits: 401(k) available for eligible providersNextCare Urgent Care is seeking a part-time Physician (MD/DO) to join our team in Marble Falls, Texas. This opportunity is ideal for physicians seeking flexibility, clinical autonomy, and a collaborative urgent care environment while maintaining a manageable schedule.Providers practice in a fast-paced urgent care setting treating a wide range of low to moderate acuity conditions while supported by experienced clinical staff and accessible medical leadership.Position Highlights• Flexible part-time schedule with minimum 4 shifts per month• Opportunity to provide both direct patient care and APP supervision• Broad urgent care case mix including illness, injury care, and occupational health• Supportive clinical teams and established practice guidelines• No after-hours responsibilitiesKey Responsibilities• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits• Order and interpret diagnostic studies including labs and imaging• Perform procedures such as suturing, splinting, and wound care• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions clearly• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values• Provide clinical oversight and supervision for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants in accordance with Texas regulations• Be available for consultation and support of APPs practicing within the clinic networkRequired Qualifications• Active, unrestricted Texas MD or DO license• Board certified or board eligible (Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred)• Active DEA license or ability to obtain prior to start• Ability to treat patients of all ages• Active BLS certification• EHR proficiency• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)Preferred Qualifications• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast-track experience• Strong procedural skills including suturing, splinting, and wound care• Experience with initial X-ray interpretation prior to radiology over-readAbout NextCareNextCare is one of the nation's largest urgent care providers, operating 160+ clinics across 11 states.
