Operation Technology Network Engineer - W2 Contract Onsite

*///W2 Contract ONSITE position in Liberty NC area///* An international IT service & solutions provider is seeking a *technically skilled Sr. OT Network Engineer in manufacturing environment* *in Princeton IN area *to ensure stability, reliability, and high performance across our mission-critical network solution. Main Responsibilities; * Lead the deployment and adoption of *OT network infrastructure*, supporting reliable and secure manufacturing operations. * Design and implement *secure, resilient OT network architectures* aligned with operational and business requirements. * Integrate *OT cybersecurity* principles into network solutions, including network segmentation, *IDMZ*, access controls, and secure connectivity. * Provide technical leadership and escalation support for complex network incidents, coordinating resolution across internal teams and external vendors. * Establish and maintain *OT network standards, implementation practices, and technical documentation*. * Mentor and train local IT teams and operational staff on OT networking fundamentals, standards, and troubleshooting. * Support project planning, network cutovers, maintenance activities, and operational readiness for OT initiatives. * Partner with engineering, operations, IT, cybersecurity, and other stakeholders to translate production requirements into scalable and effective network solutions. Technical Requirements; * Enterprise LAN/WAN networks * OT / industrial network environments * Network segmentation and secure network design * IDMZ architecture * Firewalls and secure connectivity * VLANs, routing, switching, and redundancy * Network monitoring and troubleshooting * Wireless networking in industrial or manufacturing settings * High availability network design * Support for plant-floor, automation, and edge-connected systems * Industrial network connectivity and protocols *Required Education & Experience:* * Bachelor’s degree in *Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science*, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. * *10+ years of progressive network engineering experience*, including experience supporting OT, industrial, or manufacturing network environments. * Strong knowledge of *enterprise networking, network architecture, and secure network design*. * Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues in *high-availability, business-critical environments*. * Experience supporting network deployments, maintenance windows, cutovers, and ongoing operational activities. * Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across *IT, engineering, operations, and plant teams*. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Ability to train, mentor, and provide technical guidance to local IT support personnel and operational teams. * Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and ability to independently drive tasks and projects through completion. * *Preferred Qualifications* * Experience working in *manufacturing, industrial, or plant-floor environments*. * Knowledge of *OT cybersecurity principles*, including IDMZ, network segmentation, and secure access strategies. * Experience with *automation, controls, or industrial systems networking*. * Experience supporting *large-scale OT network deployments, plant expansions, or modernization initiatives*. * Experience partnering with production engineering, maintenance, controls, and operations teams. * Experience developing *OT network standards, deployment procedures, technical documentation, or architecture guidelines*. * Relevant networking or cybersecurity certifications such as *CCNA, CCNP, CISSP*, or equivalent credentials. * _While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift 10-25 pounds if needed.
